Digital Echoes
Personal photographs and text reconstructed through machine learning.
A cameraless photographic series in which machine-learning models reinterpret personal photographs and text, allowing new images to carry echoes of the memories from which they were generated.
Digital Echoes asks what happens when personal recollection becomes training material. Photographs from a London study trip are processed into unfamiliar but recognisable visual forms. Printed and framed, the outputs challenge where photography begins when no camera is used to make the final image.
