Three movements
The first movement is a bodily salute. The second internalises devotion through mindful attention beneath the sun. The third extends the address outward, reminding other people to recognise and offer their own ode to the sun.

Inspired by “Ode to the Sun,” the work treats the sun as a god and the performer as one of its sons. Repeated physical salutations mirror repeated language in a poem and demonstrate sincerity, mindfulness and loyalty beneath the sun.
