A friendly networked-object concept combining communication, play and a deliberately approachable technological identity.
Inspired by a drinks dispenser, sweeTabot brings a small automated candy machine into the home. It is designed to organise snacks, reduce clutter and make a familiar storage object playful and convenient for users of any age.

Process and approach
01
RFID interaction
Each user receives a branded RFID card. An authorised card triggers a green light and commands a servo motor to release candy; an unrecognised card triggers a red light and the machine remains locked. The RFID interface replaces a conventional push button with a personalised interaction.
02
Home automation context
The project considers robotics as part of everyday life. Like washing machines and automated climate systems, the dispenser simplifies a domestic task while also functioning as a compact piece of furniture and a visible technological object.
